The program was initiated in response to the declining practice and transmission of Malay cultural values, particularly among younger generations, and the lack of participatory cultural learning spaces. Using a participatory descriptive method, the community was actively involved in all stages of the program, including problem identification, planning, coordination, festival implementation, and sustainability evaluation. The results demonstrate increased community participation in cultural activities, greater awareness and sense of ownership of Malay cultural heritage, and the enhancement of the festival’s function as an experiential learning space. Beyond its ceremonial aspects, the Lentera Melayu Festival serves as a platform for community empowerment and sustainable cultural preservation. The activity highlights the effectiveness of community-based cultural festivals in fostering cultural engagement and offers a potential model for local-level cultural preservation initiatives.
2026-10-13T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Rio Fernandez Tamba, Juni Anggraini, Ahmad Nazmi, Lamhot Basani Sihombinghttps://ejournal.staidarussalamlampung.ac.id/index.php/peduli/article/view/1223PENDAMPINGAN PEMAHAMAN DAN PENGAMALAN FIQH SYAFI’I DALAM PRAKTIK IBADAH MASYARAKAT: STUDI PENGABDIAN DI TERENGGANU2026-10-26T10:07:11+07:00Ahmad Zikriahmadzikriuinsuska@gmail.comNurrahminurrahmi0905@gmail.comJamaluddinjamaluddin@uin-suska.ac.idSyamsurizalsyamsurizal@uin-suska.ac.idDhiya Dwi Afifah22490324160@students.uin-suska.ac.id
Guidance on understanding and practicing Shafi'i fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) was conducted at Pasir Minal Mosque, Terengganu, to strengthen the community's acts of worship while fostering a moderate and contextual religious understanding. The initiative aimed to provide education on the fiqh of worship—grounded in established scholarly lineages—through regular study sessions, interactive discussions, practical guidance on worship rituals, and religious dialogue. A service-learning approach was employed to engage the community as active partners in the planning, implementation, reflection, and evaluation of the activities. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in the community's understanding of Shafi'i fiqh, a strengthened role for religious leaders as scholarly mentors, and the cultivation of moderate and tolerant attitudes toward differing religious practices. The younger generation also benefited through enhanced religious literacy, enabling them to critically evaluate digital information. Overall, this community service initiative positively impacted the reinforcement of a Shafi'i-based religious identity and strengthened social harmony within the community. Recommendations include ensuring the continuity of fiqh study programs, enhancing collaboration between educational institutions and the mosque, and developing contextual fiqh modules tailored to the younger generation.
2026-10-13T10:24:48+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Ahmad Zikri, Nurrahmi, Jamaluddin, Syamsurizal, Dhiya Dwi Afifahhttps://ejournal.staidarussalamlampung.ac.id/index.php/peduli/article/view/1201PENDAMPINGAN PEMBUATAN PANDUAN WISATA EDUKASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN NILAI EKONOMI PETERNAKAN LEBAH MADU DESA CIMANDALA BOGOR2026-10-26T10:07:41+07:00Hasan Bisribisrihasan2023@gmail.comMisnodrmisnomei@gmail.comTrian G. In addition to producing packaged honey products, the Muthma'in honey farm also serves as a research site, a children's play area, and a learning center for aspiring beekeepers. The Muthma'in honey farm has not been optimally utilized to generate economic value, particularly for educational tourism. This is because the Muthma'in Honey Farm does not yet have an educational tourism guide for school students or the wider community. Community Service activities through mentoring in the creation of educational tourism guides aim to compile and produce an educational tourism guide for Muthma'in Honey. The implementation method is carried out in stages: needs analysis, drafting the guide, testing the guide, evaluating the trial results, and finalizing the guide. Data were collected through field notes, interviews, and product user assessments. The results of the mentoring activity are the availability of an educational tourism guide for Muthma'in Honey in the form of a validated book. The availability of the guide is expected to increase the economic value of Muthma'in Honey farmland and impact the surrounding community's economy.
2026-10-08T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Hasan Bisri, Misno, Trian G. Implemented in Skouw Mabo, Jayapura Regency, the project employs a participatory approach that encompasses participatory assessment, co-design, capacity building (via training and mentoring), institutional strengthening, market network development, and sustainability evaluation. The initiative has resulted in a wider range of processed sago products and enhanced community capacity in processing, product formulation, hygiene and sanitation practices, and the use of appropriate technology. Furthermore, the mentoring process has improved community understanding of business organization, market networks, and food quality and safety standards. By integrating local knowledge and ensuring the sustainability of the sago grove ecosystem, sago management is directed toward creating added value beyond its role as a food source. The program establishes a value-chain-based empowerment model that integrates sago's potential as a food source, community capacity building, product innovation, standardization, institutional and market network development, and socio-cultural and ecological sustainability. This approach serves as a reference for developing high-quality local food products in border regions sharing similar characteristics.
2026-10-13T11:20:50+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Indah Slamet Budiarti, Kusdianto, Aleda Mawene, Lely Yustina Wati, Endrianihttps://ejournal.staidarussalamlampung.ac.id/index.php/peduli/article/view/1251EDU-AKSI BUDIDAYA JAHE DAN PEMILAHAN SAMPAH ORGANIK DAN ANORGANIK SEBAGAI STRATEGI PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT BERKELANJUTAN 2026-10-26T10:08:48+07:00Novita Sarinovita.op21@gmail.comEka Lailita Eti Varinaekalailita00@gmail.comMoh. The activities involved housewives as well as the heads of five Community Units (RW) and twenty-eight Neighborhood Units (RT) in Randakari. The implementation utilized an "Edu-Action" approach, integrating education, discussion, demonstration, and hands on practice across three stages: preparation and needs assessment, education and capacity building, and field action and practice. Activities included instruction on basic ginger cultivation techniques, practical ginger planting, education on identifying organic and inorganic waste, and the implementation of waste sorting using segregated bins. The results indicate that the Edu-Action approach successfully increased community engagement in ginger cultivation and waste sorting practices while strengthening the roles of RW and RT heads as drivers of community-level activities. The program contributes a practice-based empowerment model that integrates productive, ecological, and participatory aspects. Program sustainability is ensured through the monitoring of ginger cultivation, consistent waste sorting, and the strengthening of environmental action groups at the RT and RW levels.
2026-10-14T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Novita Sari, Eka Lailita Eti Varina, Moh.
