PEMANFAATAN CERITA FABEL SEBAGAI MEDIA PENANAMAN NILAI KEJUJURAN DAN AMANAH PADA ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract

Early childhood is a critical period for character development, including honesty and trustworthiness. However, the decline in moral values among children has become a serious concern. This study aims to analyze the use of fable stories as a medium for instilling honesty and trustworthiness values in early childhood. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with observation and documentation techniques. The results show that fable stories are effective in conveying moral messages in a way that is easily understood by children. Through animal characters and simple storylines, children can identify and imitate positive behaviors such as honesty and responsibility. The conclusion indicates that fable-based learning contributes significantly to character building and can be used as an alternative educational medium in early childhood education.
