TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL DALAM PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER ANAK USIA DINI: EKSPLORASI KREATIVITAS GURU PADA LEMBAGA PAUD BERBASIS ISLAM

Abstract

The digital transformation in early childhood education has encouraged teachers to develop innovative learning approaches, particularly in strengthening character education in Islamic-based PAUD institutions. This research aims to explore teacher creativity in utilizing digital media to instill character values in early childhood at BA Aisyiyah Sidowayah. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and learning activities. The findings revealed that teachers creatively integrated digital technology through educational videos, Islamic animated stories, interactive learning media, and communication platforms with parents to support children’s character development. The use of digital media increased children’s enthusiasm, participation, and understanding of religious and social values such as discipline, honesty, responsibility, and cooperation. However, several challenges were identified, including limited facilities, teachers’ digital literacy, and supervision of technology use among children. In conclusion, digital transformation can become an effective medium for strengthening character education when supported by teacher creativity and appropriate learning strategies. This research contributes to the development of science and technology by providing insights into innovative digital-based character education practices in Islamic early childhood education institutions.
