IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU DI MADRASAH ALIYAH DARUSSALAM SUMEDANG SARI OKU TIMUR

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic education management in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Darussalam Sumedang Sari OKU Timur. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The research informants consisted of the principal, vice principal, and teachers. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of Islamic education management was carried out through planning teacher development programs, organizing clear duties, implementing academic supervision, fostering discipline, and evaluating teacher performance periodically. The principal applied Islamic values such as trustworthiness, discipline, responsibility, and deliberation in managing educators. The implementation of Islamic education management proved effective in improving teacher performance in terms of discipline, responsibility in learning administration, teaching competence, and commitment to professional duties in the madrasah.
